Tap Drag Go! Enables you to enter your saved text fast, very fast!

You can define several pieces of texts, associate each of them with one of the 9 keys and then enter each of them with lightning speed.

All you need to do is to Tap and HOLD on the 123/ABC button, making the Tap-Drag-Go icons appear on the main 9 keys.

Then simply Drag your finger over the icons to select one of the messages.

(We have pre-defined some common texts here, but you can change them to what you want. See below.)

While your finger slides over the icons, the text on the screen changes. You are free to drag around until you find the text you like.

Then let Go and the text you've chosen will be entered.

To change a text: simply enter the text you want first, select it, then perform a Tap-Drag-Go for the location where you want to save that text.

Please note that like a macro, you can include a time or date stamp inside your saved text to be expanded at the time you recall it. For example, if you save the string: "Today's date is <date>" then when you recall this, it will expand into "Today's date is 5/22/2013"

Like a macro, you can change the format of this date in advanced_options_string, under MessagEase's settings_string.

To change the Tap-Drag-Go icon of any key: perform a Tap-Drag-Go and then hold for 3 seconds. A pop-up menu will enable you to pick one from many we have provided.

You can turn off Tap-Drag-Go in the advanced_options_string in settings_string.

Also note that with Tap-Drag-Go you have access to 18 pieces of text: 9 on the main letter keys and nine on the main number keys.

For now, Tap-Drag-Go works only when the keyboard is in the square (not wide) mode.
